The production version of the Golf Alltrack will be featured before it is released in the fall of 2016.
Volkswagen just announced that it will release the Golf Alltrack at the 2016 New York Auto Show. The prototype version of the Golf Alltrack was showcased at the NY show last year.
In 2016 the production version of the Golf Alltrack will be released at the upcoming show. VW also announced the Golf Alltrack will hit dealerships in the fall of 2016.
The Golf Alltrack is very similar to the Golf SportWagen. One of the differences is the added inch of ground clearance and the cladding on the body panels.
Similarly the redesigned lower front fascia is new in the Golf Alltrack. The new VW Golf Alltrack comes with 4Motion all-wheel drive with an off-road mode with hill descent control. Basically the Alltrack has all the packages of the SportWagen in a decidedly more rugged way.
The VW Golf Alltrack features a 1.8-liter turbocharged inline-four engine under the hood. The Volkswagen engine is capable of 170 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque.
Similarly there is a six-speed dual-clutch automatic and will be the only transmission available at first. Later a six-speed manual will be available in the Golf Alltrack.

The diesel-powered Golf Alltrack comes with more than enough room for everyone. The Alltrack also has a small Golf footprint made it easy to park and maneuver. The Alltrack is basically the functionality of a small crossover without the small frame. The VW Golf Alltrack will arrive in the US later in 2016.
