Xiaomi unveils curved 65" Mi TV 3S

Xiaomi has recently announced its new Mi TV. To surprise us all, the Xiaomi Mi TV 3S curved comes with a 5.9mm thick metal body, with 3,840 x 2,160px resolution, and 65-inch screen.

Yes, you heard it right! 65 inch. There is no decimal point in between. The screen is as massive as it can be.

The huge screen comes with the courtesy of Samsung and it ensures 4,000:1 contrast, 176° viewing angle, 78% NTSC color gamut coverage.

The Mi TV 3S has been powered by Android. The massive Television runs on MStar 6A928 chipset. What’s more is that this surprising TV has a Mali-T760MP4 GPU, four Cortex-A17 CPU cores, and 2GB RAM.

Coming to the storage, there is 8GB capacity but the users can extend it with the help of USB 3.0 port. Plus, there is also USB 2.0.

The users can also connect to NAS with the help of Wi-Fi ac or Ethernet. Along with Dolby and DTS audio, the chipset also supports H.265 decoding up to 4K @ 60fps.

To pair with an independent 6-piece sound system, the company is also giving a free Mi TV bar.

The Xiaomi Mi TV 3S will be priced at CNY 9,000 (approximately $1,385 or €1,235). Apart from the 65 inch version, there is a 43 inch flat screen version too.

The chipset is same as the previous version with Cortex-A9 and Mali-450 based - with 1080p at 60fps decoding (H.265).

The 43 inch version is priced at CNY 1,800 (nearly $277 or €250). Both the 65 inch and 43 inch TVs will launch in China on March 31.
