Hewlett Packard or HP has managed to shine itself with what it claims to be the thinnest laptop in the world at the event of the New York Times International Luxury Conference in Versailles, France.

The Spectre 13.3 is a razor thin 10.4mm laptop which is just about eight pennies thick! The newly revealed MacBook though is 13.1mm thick while the 14 inch LG Gram is 12.7 mm thick.
Made from carbon fiber chassis, the HP Spectre weighs just 1.1 kg and is incredibly light! How Hp has managed to manage such latest technology into such a thinner model is what the incredibility is all about.
Its 13.3 inch 1080 resolution display has an Intel Core i7 or i5 with 512GB flash storage. The 8GB RAM has Bang & Olufsen sound along with a single charge 9.5 hours battery.
It has three USB Type C connectors, out of which two are Thunderbolt supported. The reason why the HP laptop was revealed at a luxury conference is its hand polish jewelry like finish and hidden piston hinge that haves unmatched premium look and feel.
The laptop also has two premium editions. One of them named Spectre by Tord Boontje has floral decorative patterns with a peacock and butterfly in addition to the 18K gold and Swarovski embedded crystals.
The other one namely Spectre by J. Hannah has 18K gold all around it while the logo and the power button are embedded with diamonds.
The variants shall be obviously produced in limited numbers set in an auction at the Cannes Film Festival that is going to be held in May.
The donations and the proceedings shall go to the Nelson Mandela Foundation.
Pre-orders for the basic HP Spectre 13.3 shall start by April 25th 2016 in the US which shall cost around $1,170.
Best Buy shall be starting the laptop offer starting from 22nd May 2016 that will be priced at $1250.
