Boyd Holbrook is in talks these days with the officials of “Wolverine 3” for the role of a new villain.

Boyd will be starring along with Hugh Jackman who plays Wolverine in the series. The shooting of “Wolverine 3”will start in May this year. James Mangold will direct this movie which is written by David James Kelly.

Hugh Jackman stated a few days earlier that “Wolverine 3” will be his last movie portraying the role of Wolverine/Logan. This movie is scheduled to be released on March 3, 2017.

Holbrook who is a newcomer in the series will be playing the role of chief of security of a global corporation. His duties will include pursuing Wolverine to finish him off.

Patrick Stewart will be seen again playing the role of Professor X of the original X-Men. Holbrook starred in “Narcos”, which is a ten episode drama series on the life of Pablo Escobar.

“Narcos” was nominated for the Golden Globes and WGA Awards. Its second season is going to premier in the winter this year. He also appeared in “Gone Girl”, “The Skelton Twins”, and in “The Free World”.

He would be seen ruthlessly following and looking for Wolverine to end his life in “Wolverine 3”. According to Deadline, the CAA Rapped actor is about to finalize his deal with Fox in the coming days and will be included in the cast when the shooting for the film starts in May.

Jackman’s announcement of “Wolverine 3” to be his final appearance as Logan startled many. He has been portraying the role of superhero Wolverine/Logan in all X-Men movies since the past 20 years. Fans will definitely miss him as their beloved hero.
