David Ayer Calls Suicide Squad Reshoot Rumors Silly
  • David Ayer Turns Down Suicide Squad Reshoot Rumors for Humor

David Ayer said that reshooting the Suicide Squad to make it more humorous are ill based and no such thing is happening.

So last night, we all got to know the Suicide Squad a little better at the MTV Movie Awards when Will Smith, Jared Leto and Margot Robbie presented a brand new, never before seen trailer of the movie. We know that the Suicide Squad will be a team of super villains who will band together to fight the bad guys aka The Joker.

While we enjoyed the slight puns and the humor of every scene and joke including Hayley Quinn getting dressed in crowd, Jai Courtney’s boyfriend question, the vexing pun, the music in the trailer, Jai Courtney and Will Smith both teasing the guy who can emit fire and then the water joke being a good idea bit. It was hilarity overall and we can predict that it is going to go across the entire movie. Jai Courtney is also adamant of the fact that the final product is pretty hilarious.

This was the time that director David Ayer took to clarify any misconception or rumors about reshooting the film to add more humor. He said that reshooting for humor was silly and if the studio loves your movie and ask what else you want, you just go for it. This is what Ayer plans on doing with Suicide Squad. He is going to go for it.

Last month, BirthMoviesDeath said that the studio and the director were planning on reshooting the movie so that they could add more humor and light heartedness to the movie. However, after last night’s trailer, the movie has clarified that it is not just an action buff but a humorous, action saga.
