One of the most popular activities of the early internet was taking movies or videos and syncing them up with other things. People use the things that sync up as a way to prove some secret collective conspiracy.

Some people also think it is a joke and something for stoners to do.

However, it is a way to celebrate the artistry that we have in our world. The newest creation of this is Star Wars: The Force Awakens syncs up close enough to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon LP.

This technique is most famous for syncing up the 1929 MGM iconic movie The Wizard of Oz and the Pink Floyd album. However, there can't be any secret meaning between the two because Dark Side of the Moon was released in 1973. Still, there are some moments that are really strange and make you think that Pink Floyd used the movie as inspiration. Alan Parsons, who was the sound engineer on the album, said that Oz was mentioned during the production of Dark Side of the Moon.

Of course, the internet took hold of this discovery and it has become more and more popular. Debates include when to press play, if pausing should be allowed, and when the true end was. The movement joined with "The Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" and became a cultural touchstone.

Now, however, it is happening against and in a big way. In what some are dubbing as "Dark Side of the Force Awakens," the most recent Star Wars movie syncs with the album.

Now, of course the producers and editors of the movie probably didn't do it consciously, but there is always an "if" involved.

The theory emerged, like so many others, from Reddit. A user named knnl posted that The Force Awakens Syncs up with Dark Side of the Moon. You have to start the album right as the opening scroll disappears and allow the LP to loop three times.

The user even highlighted some of his favorite moments:

Kylo trying to get into Rey’s mind (the music in this part is very interesting, as it starts growing when she says “you’re afraid”, then she wait some seconds, and says “that you’ll never be as strong as vader” at the exact same moment as “Breathe” starts)

“Live for today, gone tomorrow. That’s me.”

The camera focus on Han during this whole phrase

“Home, Home again

I like to be here when i can”

Rey meets with Finn, Han and Chewie again

“I’m not afraid of dying. Anytime will do”
