Another former Tesla Motors employee ends up at Apple's secret car project.

Chris Porritt was the VP of Engineering at Tesla Motors from 1997 until 2013. Before that he spent a decade at Land Rover as Principal engineer. You can call him a real car guy. Today Electrek reports that they discovered that Chris Porritt has joined Apple.

He is supposed to work on "Special Projects", which is where Apple's secret car project Titan is a part of. Chris Porritt could even be the new leader of project Titan as Steve Zadesky, reportedly left Apple. Zadesky was believed to have led project Titan.

Elon Musk and Apple are in what could be seen as a poaching war. Musk has said in the past that they internally call Apple as the Tesla Graveyard. Musk also has stated that the Apple car project is an open secret.

Yesterday a report from Germany claims that Apple operates a secret car lab in Berlin. The report puts the release of the first Apple car into 2019 or 2020. Apple so far has not officially confirmed that the company is working on a car. There is a lot of evidence that they do, but nothing so far has leaked that gives us an idea what kind of car Apple thinks the world wants.
