The image of the Crab Nebula was tweeted by NASA in honor of Prince and his incredible talent. The Crab Nebula is 6500 light years away from the earth.
This image was formed through composite effort spearheaded by pics taken from the Hubble Space Telescope and ESA’s Herschel Space Observatory.
The Crab Nebula is basically the remains of a supernova. It came about due to the explosion of a large star. Stars of this sort send out a lot of light and end up dying before their time.
As for Prince, in whose honor the tribute was given, he was just 57 at the time of his death. The man was a legend among the musicians of his time.
His songs such as Gold, The Most Beautiful Girl in the World and Little Red Corvette made history by their sheer magic and entertainment value.
Rest in peace, Prince. You were and are the best.
