Watch Adam Sandler and David Spade in The Do-Over Trailer
  • Adam Sandler and David Spade Feature in the Happy Madison’s The Do-Over Red-Band Trailer

Adam Sandler and David Spade are seeing a lot of R-rated action and comedy in the new trailer for Netflix Original movie The Do-Over.

We know that Netflix have a standing contract with Adam Sandler for 8 movies. Over the course of 5 years, Adam and his production company, Happy Madison promised to deliver original comedy movies to the network.

Netflix made the deal based on the audience preference for Sandler and although many of the movies that he has made to date have been critical losses, still the network finds that the actor and his productions have some X factor to it that gets the audience coming back for more.

His last release The Ridiculous 6 was more or less a fail with the critics but a certain audience preferred to watch the movie. The critics however may have made Sandler rethink his movie ideas and he has gone in a completely different, modern yet seen premise of a spy movie. He is not the main character of the movie.

The main character is Charlie played by David Spade who spends the initial part of the trailer explaining all the reasons his life practically sucks until he meets his old buddy Max Kessler who tells him that he is an FBI agent and invites him along to a cruise on a yatch doing things like threesomes, drugs and excessive drinking until we see the yatch blow up and assume that the characters are dead.

But they are not dead and Max informs a drugged Charlie that he faked their deaths and now they get to do over their lives again. They travel to some distant island where they take other identities.

However, things start going south where they have to open secret bank vault, get chased by gunmen and Max informs Charlie that he is not a Fed. He went to the police academy but he couldn’t pass the psychological test.

He randomly runs over a woman with their car and we catch a glimpse of a very disgruntled Paula Patton with some cool action bit and David Spade declares at the end that all of it is exactly why he stopped hanging out with Max in the first place.

The movie is an original Netflix and Happy Madison production and the network will release the movie on May 27th.
