Power Rangers costume revealed to have alien powers and represent metamorphosis plus thoughts on Rita Repulsa’s costume comes forward as well.
Making a reboot is always hard especially tackling all the expectations of the fans of the show or the movie that is getting a reboot. And making it better to attract a new dimension of audience especially if the reboot is a much adored series.

Same is the case for a series on Nickelodeon about five teenagers living in Angel Grove who come to realize that the world is on the verge of being destroyed by an alien threat. They come together to form a band of extraordinary heroes that must save the day and eventually the planet.
Yes, they are Power Rangers.
Coming on the scene on Nickelodeon in the 1990s, the show ran for a good many years in which there were feature films and video games based on these young fighters as well.
The show went off air but the series was repeated on the network several times. Now in the age of superhero movies, it seemed like a good idea to make a reboot for the movie with a brand new cast, a brand new plot and brand new costumes for the Power Rangers.
We all got a first look at the Power Ranger costumes in a latest preview by Entertainment Weekly. The uniforms that the Power Rangers will be donning on this time are not latex.
If you remember, the Power Rangers were usually dressed in shiny latex in their symbolic colour and although latex was a very cool look in the 90s, they sure looked uncomfortable and begged for the question how they appeared on their bodies. In later episodes, the Rangers had their robotic droids which they operated to defeat evil.
All of these factors along with Andrew Menzies idea of representing metamorphosis in the teenage heroes spurred the costumes which Menzies explained as alien costume that grows on them and it’s not man-made.
That means that the whole ‘how do they appear on them’ question has been answered. Menzies say that they cannot please everyone but a lot of thought has gone into it.
Another thought that has been revoked in fans is the thought the Elizabeth Banks’ Rita Repulsa costume looks similar to the costumes of the Power Rangers. Many fans are speculating if Repulsa might be the Green Ranger from current version Dino Charge was sent through a black hole 65 million years ago.
While you’re giving thoughts to that, the cast has expressed that they love the costumes. The new Power Rangers include Becky G as Yellow Ranger Trini, Ludi Lin as Black Ranger Zack, Dacre Montgomery as Red Ranger Jason, Naomi Scott as Pink Ranger Kimberly, and RJ Cyler as Blue Ranger Billy.
