Harry has cut his long hair for his new movie role.

Harry Styles of One Direction recently had his long hair chopped off. Everyone was surprised by this decision of his. Why did he do it?

Well, there is a reason behind this drastic step taken by the ultra-famous pop star. He had to snip-snip his lengthy locks for the sake of a new movie role.

His fans are out of control over this choice he has made. They are literally going bonkers. Yet Harry knows he is being given a golden opportunity to act in a film in Hollywood. Even if his fans are mad at him for the haircut, he simply had no other choice.

“Harry had no choice but to cut his hair for his new movie role,” a source told HollywoodLife.

“But Harry knows it’s all for a good cause, and cannot wait to get started on working on the film. He knows this is his first big break in Hollywood and he’s keen to do anything it takes to make it work, and that includes upsetting his scores of fans by cutting his hair.”

The Instagram pic of Harry showed him holding his ponytail with the caption “Whoops!” as a side comment. Harry has given a hint that he will give away his chopped-off locks to charity.

This might assuage some of his fans’ anger at the shocking decision he took. Harry will be making his maiden entry into the world of the silver screen soon.

Christopher Nolan’s movie Dunkirk will bear his imprimatur as a novice actor. The director wanted him without his long hair so that was that. Harry had to comply if he wanted his career to succeed. His fans ought to understand this much.
