It has been found that e-cigarettes are probably not safe and most likely do tend to have a harmful effect on kids.

E-cigarettes are the devil’s choice among drugs. They clearly have deleterious consequences. Many cases have been reported of young kids being harmed by these seemingly innocuous vaporizing inhalable agents.

The young tykes inadvertently swallowed the liquid nicotine in the e-cigarettes and ended up in the hospital. Although not all cases were so serious, one did die from the poisoning and others had severe complications.

There were those little ones who ended up in a coma and then there were those who wound up suffering from seizures. The research was done by studying the cases that end up buzzing emergency poison call centers.

Soon this problem may reach the proportions of a full-fledged epidemic. The main issue at hand is that parents ought to be more careful where they place the e-cigarettes.

These strictly adult items ought to never be within the reach of children or juveniles. Also more stringent rules and regulations will have to be instituted by both the guardians of the youngsters and the FDA.

This study basically explored the rates of exposure of children to nicotine and tobacco products from 2012 to 2015. E-cigarettes took the cake when it came to the highest number of complications among youth and juveniles. These e-cigarettes are inhaled after the vapors from the liquid nicotine have undergone sublimation.

Especially, the multicolored exteriors of the packaging of these e-cigarettes and their various interesting flavors are something which makes the kids want to imitate the adults. This can of course be problematic in the long run. The results of the study were published in a journal.

The FDA is looking into the contents and functionality of these inhalable devices. Warning labels will be placed on these supposedly harmless products. Also the stuff these e-cigarettes are wrapped in will be made resistant to any meddling by children.

This will corroborate erstwhile laws that have already been implemented by the FDA. E-cigarettes have attracted the youth population thanks to the flashy advertising associated with these products. It is a strange thing but all the enjoyable and dangerous things in the world are linked with diseases and harmful effects.
