This is a good development as Apple’s MacBook Pro line shall also be released in the company’s WWDC 2016 event at fairly the same time. Microsoft however shall be waiting for the Kaby Lake series of processors (Intel’s 7th generation i5 and i7 processors) that shall be featuring 4nm Fin FET technology’s much higher performance in comparison to its own 6th generation Skylake processors. Hence when it comes to performance, the Surface Book 2 shall surely be better than the 2016 MacBook Pro line by Apple.
Moreover, there have been speculations regarding the fact that Microsoft could even be going higher through providing a 4k screen in comparison to the previous 3000 x 2000 resolution screen. According to Vine Report, the June release is the perfect release time keeping in mind Apple’s MacBook release.
The Surface Book 2 shall also be having a USB-C type port due to which high transfer speeds, improved delivery and attaching other display options shall become feasible. Though the pricing is yet not known but it is said to be coming in different specification variants hoping that the price is less than the original’s $1,499.
