Depp said in a press conference that it would have been a very obnoxious act had it occurred. Johnny and his wife Amber Heard had already made a video clip apologizing for bringing in their pet dogs into Australian territory.
He may have made the video with the sincerest of intentions yet now he is making fun of it. His Yorkshire Terriers proved to be a stumbling block for him and his wife. Depp was up to his Captain Jack Sparrow ways.
He mockingly said that he was going to repeat the same old catchphrase of “sorry I didn’t bring in my dogs to your nation” for every country he visited from now onwards. He was in London for the initial press conference of his movie Alice Through the Looking Glass.
Depp imitated the style with which he made that apology to Australians. He said that most Aussies were a chipper lot and that he had considered euthanasizing his dogs after the traumatizing experience.
The mock apology was posted on YouTube. Depp and Amber’s dogs Pistol and Boo were finally released along with the stars and they made it home from the Land Down Under.
Depp and his wife had escaped conviction in accordance with the Australian rules and regulations by the skin of their teeth. Amber spoke giggling all the while that her pet dogs were a hazard for Australia. This seemed to be a ridiculous proposition.

Depp was there to act for his movie Pirates of the Caribbean. He almost ended up behind bars and nearly paid a fine amounting to $75,000. Australia ‘s Agriculture Minister said that he would have the dogs euthanized. This was especially ridiculed by Depp in the jocular video clip. After seeing this mock apology, the minister spoke of how Depp would not be awarded an Oscar for this stupid performance of his on YouTube.
