Cavalier by Chevy has been placed in retirement by the company for the past 11 years. However Chevy has been reintroduced in the Chinese market by U.S automakers. The trend of getting the abandoned models of cars back on the road with a new look is prevalent these days.

Recently Ford brought back its model named Escort to China. This model had also been a vehicle in retirement for eons. Now Chevrolet is also bringing its car Moniker back from the dead. It is also preparing to reintroduce it in the Chinese market, reported Caranddriver.
China is the 4th largest market for cars. The Cavalier that will be introduced in China this year has an American look. It has a stylish look and looks like a basic Cruze. This Cavalier has a 4.5 inches shorter and 3.9 inches narrower wheelbase that has altered its previous look. It looks more magnificent and modernized this way.
This US Cavalier will be available in a standard 1.5 liter engine with a horse power of 107. It will showcase six speed manual and automatic transmission. It will come with 15 inch wheels while other modified models will also cater to a wheel size of 16 inches.
