Italy is celebrating 50 years of BMW in the country and the celebrations have begun with a futuristic BMW i8 Futurism Edition Car.

BMW Italia and Garage Italia have started the celebration of BMWs 50th anniversary in style. They have introduced a special edition BMW i8 Futurism Edition to mark the start of these 50 years celebrations in the country. This edition is a perfect picture of celebration of a big name.

The design of the car follows the Italian Art of Giacomo Balla on an iconic BMW car. This car will be seen running in the Mille Miglia 2016 and will follow a BMW 328 which will be driven by the President and CEO of BMW Italy, Mr. Sergio Solero.

Giacomo Balla’s work “Lampada ad Arco” is embedded on the exterior of this celebration car. The original painting of this art work hung in Museum Of Modern Art in New York. This painting shows an electric light hung under the moonlight. This painting marked the revolution of technology. The imprinting of its copy on this car portrays the future technology of BMW i8 Futurism Edition.

BMW i series represent the visionary vehicles that have marked their place in technology. BMW i series is represented in more than 50 series showcasing the i3 and i8 versions of this car. The i3 series consist of hybrid metropolitan cars while the i8 series showcase plug in hybrid cars made by BMW.

According to CEO and President of BMW Italy, this BMW i8 Futurism Edition is the perfect combination of a sports car and creativity that is offered by Italy. This car will be customized with Garage Italia Customs in order to provide it to people who want to buy this special edition.
