Chloe Bennet who is an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D starlet said recently that Marvel Comics was lax regarding its own TV show.
The dirty little secrets of Marvel Comics are not often let out for fear regarding what the public will say. Chloe Bennet however wants to say that she has an objection to how the comics enterprise handles its TV show.
During a Q&A session at Wizard World Des Moines, she tackled the problem head on. She said that other Avengers like Natasha Romanoff and Steve Rogers are not making appearances anymore. The face-off with Hive and his band of Inhumans was not being managed carefully.
Why don’t those who make movies also acknowledge the TV shows? This was the question on Chloe Bennet’s lips. She said that it was probably a case of not caring enough about the whole thing.
This was already an example of too much information yet Chloe went ahead and said that as far as her appearing in the Marvel repertoire was concerned, she might as well be a non-entity. Such harsh words raised the interest-o-meter of the audience.
She spoke of how the movie-verse of Marvel tended to forget all about the TV show and this was a great deal of unfairness on its part. The fact that movies and television shows are kept at arms length of each other speaks volumes about the Marvel Comics empire. S.H.I.E.L.D has been a one man show since its beginning.
None of the television show made it to the silver screen which was a shame. Bennet’s comments are a very harsh criticism of Marvel Comics. She is obviously not too happy with the version of TV shows the enterprise comes up with.
