The Olympus Stylus TG-Tracker is rugged waterproof camera with 5 sensors adding meta data to your photos and videos.

Earlier this month photo of a new unusual Olympus Though action video camera. Now the Olympus Stylus TG-Tracker camera has leaked in full ahead of the official announcement.

Update May 24: The Olympus TG-Tracker got officially Released.

The Olympus Though Stylus TG-Tracker features a rugged design and five sensors that deliver additional data to videos and photos. The TG-Tracker features GPS, altitude, compass, temperature and gyroscope sensors. The camera has a field sensor system to capture the state of motion during sport activities.

Depending how this additional data is made available through software it could be used to display the current speed in a video riding a bike. By recording not just the location via GPS, but also adding altitude and acceleration could make the TG-Tracker a very interesting action camera for outdoor enthusiasts.

The Stylus TG-Tracker is part of the Olympus Tough series and it definitely earns that label. The new unannounced Olympus camera is waterproof to 30m and survives a drop from 2.1m. It keeps on working to temperatures of 10 degrees celsius.

The Olympus Stylus TG-Tracker can record 4K video at 30fps and full HD video at 60fps. Other features of the new Olympus TG-Tracker camera include Wi-fi, ultra-wide lens,1.5-inch display, 5-axis image stabilizer and microSD card slot.

The measurements of the Olympus Stylus TG-Tracker are 35 x 56.5 x 93.2mm and the weight is 180g.

Olympus is releasing the Olympus Though Stylus TG-Tracker end of June in green and black according to Japanese rumor blog digicame-info.

It is not quite clear why this new camera from Olympus carries besides "Though" also the "Stylus" sub brand. It is just too much.
