Xiaomi unveiled today the Mi Drone. The camera drone comes in a HD and a 4K version with extreme low prices.
The Xiaomi Mi Drone is cheaper than rumored by Bloomberg - so much for their credibility. Bloomberg pegged $610 as the price. The official price of the Mi Drone is dramatically lower than that. The Xiaomi Mi Drone 4K will sell for 2,999 Yuan ($457) and the HD version will sell for 2,499 Yuan ($380). DJI just got a big problem.

Xiaomi choses an unusual path to launch the Mi drone. The company will offer the Mi Drone 4K and Mi Drone HD via a crowdfunding campaign initially. The beta testing will begin in July and the commercial release of the Mi Drone follows after that.
