Toyota has recalled 1.6 million vehicles from all over the U.S due to the Takata Airbag problem.

Takata airbags have certainly caused chaos all over the transport industry. Being the most famous company to design and provide airbags in the vehicles, a mistake has created quite a toll for it.

Hundreds of thousands of vehicles have been recalled from various companies in order to fix the airbag issue. According to many reports these airbags have been found faulty as their parts explode upon collison. And the shrapnel of the airbag inflict injuries on passengers.

Takata has personally recalled millions of cars and is actually facing a huge loss in its own history of losses.  Recently Toyota made an announcement to recall 1,584,000 cars in U.S in order to fix the airbag problem.

The cars that are being recalled by Toyota include Scion and Lexus models, according to CarandDriver. Along with that many new models that were offered recently have been recalled.

These models include the Yaris 2006-011 and Lexus IS 2007-2011. Other than that Lexus ES 2008-2011 and Scion XB 2009-2011 were also included. Toyota Corolla from 2009 to 2011, Matrix 2010-2011, 4Runner 2010-2011 and Lexus GX are also among the cars being recalled by the company.

Dealers of these cars will replace the airbags later as well. However the possibility of doing so might not arise for months as many things tend to affect this decision.

The condition of car, and the place where the owner resides will get the replacement delayed for sure in certain cases. Mercedes Benz has also made a recall expansion in this case for sure. Almost 25 brands have recalled the cars that had Takata airbags installed in them.
