The latest additions to Dell’s line of products are specially designed to deliver strong performance with an array of choices to meet customer needs. The completely refreshed 2016 Inspiron 2-in-1 lineup offers something for everyone, whether it’s a premium 7000 Series, a mainstream 5000 Series, or an entry-level 3000 Series.

These new devices are available with a wide range of processor options and configurable features, enabling students, families and users looking for great value to connect, learn and achieve more.

“With our new Inspiron 2-in-1 lineup, customers can work where they need to and play when they want to,” said Ray Wah, vice president, Dell Consumer Product Marketing. “Whatever you can create or imagine, you can achieve it with the 2-in-1 laptop best suited to your needs. Dell is thrilled that our innovative technology can help make your creation a reality. Our customers inspire us, and we keep on innovating for them.”

The Inspiron 13-, 15- and 17-inch 7000 2-in-1s offer brilliant aluminum design and high performance with fast 6th Gen Intel CoreTM processor options that make quick work of everyday tasks.

A versatile 360 degree hinge enables four modes to suit the user’s environment: laptop mode for typing out a paper, tent mode for working on a presentation, stand mode for streaming movies or tablet mode for keeping up on social media. The 7000s include upscale features as standard, such as wide-viewing angle screen with FHD resolution, backlit keyboard for typing in dim environments and infrared camera that works with Windows Hello to allow users to log in with just a look.

The standard precision touchpad delivers precise pointing and gesture recognition, Waves MaxxAudio Pro audio software enhances the multimedia experience and 802.11ac wireless provides improved range and speed for better surfing, streaming and video chats.

The Inspiron 7000 2-in-1s make use of Dell’s optional USB Type C adapter which has ports for HDMI and VGA displays, Ethernet connection and a USB 3.0 port to support external hard drives, printers, and scanners.

Available Dell Power Companions can connect to the USB Type C port, adding up to 6 hours of additional battery life for the 13- and 15-inch 7000s, and up to 5 additional hours2 for the 17-inch system.

This 11-inch 2-in-1 combines the performance of a laptop and the convenience of a tablet in an affordable ultraportable design that makes it easy to take anywhere. It offers a rich set of features wrapped in a colorful, fun design that’s easy to use and built for the long haul. It features the latest processors from Intel providing speedy performance for surfing the web, writing a term paper, editing videos or doing web chats.

A vibrant HD resolution (1366x768) display provides crisp, bright image on-screen and is easy to position for clear viewing. The laptop’s USB 3.0 port and Micro SD media card reader make managing the user’s digital library a snap.

These Inspiron 5000 2-in-1s embrace a sleek new design and a brilliant wide-angle FHD resolution display. The 5000s provide a great range of features and easy-to-use options.

The infrared camera option works with Windows Hello facial recognition so users can easily log in with just a look, and a backlit keyboard option makes working in dim environments more pleasant. Available SSDs provide longer battery life, quicker responsiveness and improved shock resistance as compared to conventional rotational HDDs.

The 13-inch 2-in-1’s compact size and light weight make it ideal for everyday travel, and the 15-inch 2-in-1 has 40% more screen room than the 13-inch making it well suited to working on multiple projects or enjoying movies with friends and family. Inspiron 5000 2-in-1s offer FHD display for 13 inch and 15 inch with (1920x1080) True-life LED-Backlit Touch Display, and up to 16GB of dual channel DDR4 memory -- perfect for multi-taskers who switch between open applications.

The new 15- and 17-inch Inspiron 5000 Series laptops are beautifully designed, versatile machines that come with an array of processor options for fast, responsive performance. Featuring a vibrant display, they are perfect for families who share a PC and for consumers interested in personal use such as entertainment. The optional infrared camera (available on the 15” FHD touch Intel/AMD models) with the Windows Hello feature allows users to log in with a look at the camera, providing extra security and convenience.

For scalability and storage, an optical DVD drive and optional Blu-ray writer (not available on the 17” AMD model) may be added, ideal for backing up photos, videos and data. Exceptionally stylish and attractive with a glossy, colorful finish, customers can choose from several brilliant colors including Midnight Blue, Bali Blue and Tango Red, coming soon.
