Google released a new service to test your site's usability and speed on mobile and desktop.
For the past couple years, Google offered the PageSpeed Insight testing tool. Now there is a new service based on PageSpeed Insight that is easier to use and has a flashy user interface. The new tool part of the Think with Google program grades webpages for Mobile Friendliness, Mobile Speed and Desktop speed.

I4U News reaches 99 out of 100 for mobile friendliness, 97 in mobile speed and 86 out of 100 for desktop speed. The Google tool says our site is in good shape. The tool is sending out detailed reports on request via email.
This tool is great for non-technical people to check their site if it needs work or if its fine in the eyes of Google.
You can test your site here.

Some people had fun testing the tool on Google.com and the results are surprisingly bad. While Google reaches 100 in mobile friendliness, the site only scores 79 in mobile speed and 92 in desktop. Google.com has though just a logo and search box. I guess it is time for Google to eat their own dog food and optimize their site to score 100 out of 100 - anything less is embarrassing.
