The female cast of the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy, and Kate McKinnon, take the spotlight in Elle’s Women in Comedy feature.
Paul Feig’s all-female reboot of 70s hit Ghostbusters is about to release next month. Despite the initial hatred that the movie got, it has suddenly become one of the most anticipated comedy movies to release this year. That being said, the cast of the movie including Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon were the perfect ensemble to feature in Elle’s Women in Comedy covers.

All four stars are all glammed up in the cover shots and an accompanying interview shot. They sure do look different from their khaki garbs and proton packs. They are however so much more than that. Each actress was individually interviewed about their life in the comedy world. Will Ferrell has interviewed Kristen Wiig for the issue. Melissa McCarthy interviewed with her old friend, shoe designer Brian Atwood. She talks about being a real Hollywood boss lady. Leslie Jones talks being funny and getting noticed on her road to success. Kate McKinnon reveals that she is, in fact, Justin Bieber.
Melissa McCarthy looks amazing in a beautiful green dress with blue details on the cover. She also dazzled in a Versace dress in her interview shot. She told Atwood that she gets psychotically involved with the characters she play. She said that she immerses herself in the role and try to play it like a real person would.
Kristen Wiig is rocking a sequined corset inspired blouse in her cover photo over black pants. Ditching pants in her interview shot, she went for edgier look with edgy denim shirt by Miu Miu with sassy boots by Giuseppe Zanotti Design. She talked about her first time in SNL and a sketch she did with Amy Poehler about being pregnant in the butt. She said she had been so nervous that she almost fainted.
Kate McKinnon gives a fun pose with a black pant suit and brings the elegance in a white Calvin Klein faux-fur coat. Talking in her interview she said that pretending to be others is the way she communicates. She said that she might in fact be Justin Bieber in reality.
Leslie Jones is also looking great in a beaded fitted dress on the cover. While looking beautiful in a floral Dolce & Gabbana dress. In her interview, Jones says that she knew she was funny and she was going to take it somewhere. She says that she had never imagined the greatness that SNL and Ghostbusters had brought her.
