  • Jack Reacher Never Go Back First Photos Revealed

The first few photos featuring Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher in sequel Never Go Back revealed.

We are all going to New Orleans. That’s right! In the first few photos that have been revealed for the sequel of Jack Reacher are based in New Orleans. Based on the Lee Child’s novels based on the character Jack Reacher.

The first movie adaptation hit the theaters in 2012 featuring Tom Cruise in the former Army cop role investigating a shooting by an ex-soldier gone rouge. Written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the movie was a success.

So the sequel of Never Go Back is almost here but not quiet. However the pictures that were acquired by People Magazine are hinting towards the setting of the movie. In one picture, Reacher is sitting in a diner.

Apparently handcuffed, injured and silent as a County Sheriff officer looks at some kind of card in his hand. The other picture features Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher and Cobie Smulders featuring as Danika are standing in a balcony in New Orleans looking over the festivities in the street.

The sequel follows Reacher as he returns to his former unit and stands accused of a 16-year-old murder. The sequel cast includes Cobie Smulders, Robert Knepper, Holt McCallany, Aldis Hodge and Danika Yarosh playing Reacher’s (alleged) daughter.

The sequel for the movie is scheduled to hit the theatres later this year. McQuarrie sadly is not working on this movie. Edward Zwick who has previously worked with Cruise will be filling in McQuarrie’s position.

Talking about Cruise he said that the 53 years old actor does all his stunts. He said working as his stunt double can get a little dull seeing that he prefers to do all his stunts which has somewhat become his signature.
