Xbox E3 2016 Briefing Online Video Stream Details

The Microsoft Xbox E3 media event will bring a new Xbox One console. Here is how to watch it.

Microsoft's E3 2016 media event begins at 9:30am PDT. The Xbox E3 2016 briefing will be streamed live online, allowing fans around the world witness the unveiling of new Xbox games and a new Xbox One console. Over night images of the Xbox One S leaked along with key specifications.

The Xbox One S is 40% smaller than the current Xbox One and comes with a 2TB HDD, 4K Ultra HD Video support, HDR support, streamlined controller and vertical stand.

The games anticipated to be unveiled at the Microsoft E3 2016 briefing include Halo Wars 2, Dead Rising 4 and Gears of War 4. There are still surprises possible. I am especially excited to see if Microsoft has any answer to Sony's Virtual reality plans. The new Xbox One S is rumored to support the Oculus Rift, but that has not yet been confirmed.

Microsoft has the HoloLens augmented reality glasses, but nothing for full immersive virtual reality. Eventually Microsoft's approach is the future of virtual reality. Will Microsoft skip the current full immersive VR with all its problems and wait it out or are they jumping in now too.

Watch the Microsoft Xbox E3 2016 Media event on the xbox site.

Note that at 10am PDT, the Apple WWDC 2016 keynote begins. It is time then open a second browser as both events overlap.
