Microsoft has unveiled the Xbox One S at the Microsoft E3 2016 media event.
The Xbox One S is sleeker, slimmer and sharper. The Xbox One S is 40% smaller than the current Xbox One and comes with a 2TB HDD, 4K Ultra HD Video, HDR, streamlined controller and vertical stand. The new Xbox One S will start at $299. It is basically replacing the current Xbox One.

The Xbox One S has an internal power supply and comes with a new controller with improved range. The Xbox One S features also an IR blaster.
The Xbox One S will go on sale already in August. Pre-order will begin soon. The details on the available configurations have not been announced yet.
Microsoft's new optimized Xbox One S has leaked earlier today. The Xbox One S is likely not the rumored Xbox Scorpio. It does though add HDR support in games. No word though on any virtual reality support.
