Amber Heard and Johnny Depp might be settling out of court which is why Heard delayed the deposition she was to witness at for a permanent restraining order.
Earlier this week, Amber Heard dropped her claim to spousal support to pursue a permanent restraining order against Johnny Depp. The 30 years old actress stated that the spousal support was taking away attention from the real issue of domestic violence. While Depp’s camp are rubbing it in that Heard only wants a part of Depp’s fortune out of it, Heard is persistent that Depp’s abuse of her remains her only priority to be addressed.

For that they scheduled to appear in court this Friday to testify against Depp. Amber and Raquel Rose Pennington had signed documents to testify against Depp when called in court. However, both the ladies seemed unavailable for the hearing and the court postponed the hearing till August.
There are many speculations as to why the court date was postponed. The most popular guess is an out of court settlement by the legal teams of both the stars.
According to TMZ, US Weekly and VanityFair sources, the legal teams are trying to keep both the actors apart while trying to reach an amicable solution regarding property and spousal support. Heard has stated that all Depp’s side claims were not true and she wanted to address domestic violence as the main issue.
Other guesses for postponement include Pennington’s engagement ceremony one day prior to the hearing which Heard was attending. So they could not make it in time for the hearing.
Another theory is that Heard required more time to gather sufficient evidence against Depp. One of the other theories is that Heard was scheduled to go to London for a costume fitting for her role as Mera in the upcoming Justice League.
The fitting was cancelled however when the studios said that Heard was too skinny for the costume. Weight loss is expected in this stressful situation but being called off for a fitting is alarming.
