iPhone 7 has Dual SIM Support: Leaked Part

A leaked iPhone 7 part suggest that Apple adopts dual SIM capability in the iPhone 7.

The iPhone 7 could offer more flexibility than ever before in using more than one carrier. Dual SIM is a common feature in smartphones from Chinese smartphone makers. Now Apple might offer dual SIM slots in the iPhone 7. An alleged iPhone 7 dual SIM Card slot part has leaked on Chinese social media.

Dual-SIM is especially useful to consumers who travel a lot. It is also great for workers who want to keep private and business calls on separate SIM cards. If Apple is adding dual SIM card support is questionable. The Dual SIM slot found in the Galaxy S7 Edge either accept a SIM card or an Micro SD card.

If Apple adds dual SIM then the iPhone 7 could also feature expandable memory. Apple might offer these flexibility feature in the rumored iPhone 7 Pro. Dual SIM and SD Card slot would make the iPhone 7 better compete with the Samsung Galaxy S7, but it would be a major change on how Apple does things.

The two photos show different SIM card parts. The second image in the gallery below could be a part that supports a dual tray like the Galaxy S7 edge with a second card that can be either a SIM card or a micro SD card.

This is not the first iPhone 7 part that has leaked. We have seen the whole logic board, memory modules and also dual camera modules. The iPhone 7 is in production right now and we will see more leaks out of the Asian supply chain. Apple is unveiling the new iPhone 7 in September.
