Samsung has always competed with Apple and both companies have kept each other on their toes. Recently Samsung took another swing at Apple and provided Apple’s popular media campaign “Shot on iPhone” some competition with its own campaign using the tag line of “Captured on Galaxy S7”.

The new campaign is expected to increase revenues for Samsung as the add is informative and lets consumers know all the super cool things they can do with their Samsung Cameras during anytime of the day, even if the add is a bit of a rip off of the original iPhone 6s add by Apple.
But one of the biggest difference between the two ads is that whereas Apple used content captured by ordinary users, Samsung used professionally shot images to boast the 4K video recording and still photography capabilities of its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.
Even though both the 6S and S7 have the exact same video recording capabilities such as recording a 4K video at 30fps or a 1080 p video at 60 fps but taking perfect pictures or recording gorgeous videos is no easy feat therefore the difference in the adds becomes an important distinction.

If you don’t have professional skills regarding photography then your pictures are going to come out quite different than what we seen in ads. Anyways it’s sort of a shame that Samsung couldn’t come up with something we haven’t seen before.
