Daniel Radcliffe reveals that he is open to play the role of Harry Potter later under certain conditions but not now.
On the premiere of the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, every one of the Potterheads were nostalgic once more. They were reminiscing about the books and the movies. It also led many people to assume that the cast of the movie will come out to support the play and the author J.K. Rowling.

While that was a great prospect, Daniel Radcliffe who played Harry Potter said that he won’t go to see the play. According to him, if he went out there, the whole event will become a comparison with his presence and the attention for the play will be diverted.
That was considerate but begged for the question whether Daniel will ever reprise his role as Harry Potter again. In an interview, he was inquired about his return to the Wizarding World. Radcliffe is not saying no to the idea.
He said in the Radio Times interview that he was open to reprising his role as Harry Potter later on in life. If the circumstances were right and the script was good, he will definitely play the part.
He said that Harrison Ford might have also said no to play Han Solo. However, the story changed over the years. Harrison Ford reprised his role as Han Solo in the latest Star Wars movie and his character dies at the end.
Daniel is considering something like that. He said that he was keeping a door open somewhere to go back to playing Harry Potter. Right now, he was saying a hard no to all the offers.

He says that he feels that right now is not the right time. Daniel has been concentrating on growing out of the Harry Potter shade for the past few years. He has managed somehow with some movies and theatre roles to make his own name.
