The front panel of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has leaked confirming Iris scanner.

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be unveiled on August 2. It already feels like we know everything about the new phablet. The Galaxy Note 7 (SM-N930F) will feature a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, 6GB RAM, 64GB storage and 12MP Dual camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be IP68 water-proof and will be available in black, blue and silver. He also confirmed that there is an Iris Scanner and a 5MP front camera.

The Galaxy Note 7 dimensions are supposedly to be 153.5mm x 73.9mm x 7.9mm, which is close to the Note 5. The Galaxy Note 7 will come with dual edge screen. There will be no flat version.

Today @OnLeaks produced a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Front panel confirming the Iris scanner and the dual edged screen.

The Iris scanner is located in one of the round cutouts next to the speaker. Samsung has removed the logo in the top bezel to make more room. It appears that the bezel is also narrower. A leaked iPhone 7 bezel also suggest a narrower top bezel coming to the new iPhone. Apple had though never a logo in the front. Samsung finally realized that this is cheesy.

On the Galaxy S7 are three sensor placements visible. The Note 7 front panel shows five. Looks like an Iris scanner requires two sensors. The sensor cut outs are also much bigger. OnLeaks published the photos of the leaked Galaxy Note 7 front panel on Android Authority. It seems Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka OnLeaks, has found a neat business model to monetize his leaks.
