Renault enters the one-tonne pick-up market with 2016 Renault Alaskan.
Renault has come up with a new pick up which has great performance and even greater looks. This pick up is getting the attention of many due to its special design. The pickup will be joining the one-tonne pickup market to start with Latin America.

Alaskan is going to win hearts of many due to its special design and stunning forceful front-end. Alaskan drivers will enjoy a drive of five link rear suspension which pretty unique for pickups. This vehicle will surely cater high performance with this kind of features.
Along with that it shows off great off-road capabilities which is again a plus. The vehicle will boast a 2.3 liters dCi engine to go with it under the boot. This engine will make sure that drivers get the best fuel economy while driving it.

These kind of light weight commercial vehicles are a major catch in Latin America. In the year 2015, 15 million LCVs were sold in Latin America. This shows that this region is fond of LCVs for sure. Thus new Alaska pick up will surely see a good entry in market after its release.
It will be available in 158bhp and 187bhp. Both of these are pretty good for a pick-up vehicle. Along with that it will support a six speed grearbox and a seven speed gearbox too. Its four wheel drive and sensitive breaks will make it a great choice for off-road expeditions as well.
