It seems as if the previous report about the new iPhone being made available in three different variants might be true as a Chinese source is backing it up. This source also claims that Apple will be ditching the 16GB storage space option for its new lineup which includes iPhone 7, 7 plus and 7 pro.

The new phone will be made available in 32GB, 128 GB and 256GB. This new report clashes with the older report which previously announced that the new iPhone 7 lineup will be made available in 32GB, 64Gb and 256GB so we should be a little cautious in placing all our bets based on this report as we truly have no idea what Apple might actually surprise us with.
What both reports do agree on is the fact that Apple will certainly ditch the 16GB option which is a necessity at this point given the size of iOS updates. The 256GB iPhone will be an optimal choice for all those who plan on recording a lot of 4K videos otherwise you can make do with the lower storage options quite nicely. Anyways we don’t have much longer to speculate as September is nearly here.
