This new record Mega Millions jackpot has been rolling since it was last won at $157 million by Michael Burkett in Washington on March 8. The only other jackpot awarded this year was a $169 million prize won in New York on January 8. That winner, Nancy Viola, was just announced last week by the New York Lottery.

Mega Millions tickets sell for $1. Players may pick 6 numbers from two separate pools of numbers. 5 different numbers from 1 to 75 and one number from 1 to 15. Players can also just select Easy Pick.
