Both of these companies were collaborating for the last few years in order to bring better quality trucks for customers all around the world. However due to low sales and clashes between the two companies, this collaboration has come to an unfortunate end.
Nevertheless instead of wailing on this end, Mazda has come up with another collaboration in order to start a new range of production of trucks and semi-trucks.
Ford did a good job while producing excellent trucks with Mazda. On the other hand the BT-50 which was co-developed by Ford’s Australian division will be the last produced under the first collaboration. While in the U.S Mazda’s last pick up was a B-series truck, this was also a re-badged version of a Ford vehicle.
Not much details were supplied by Mazda on this new partnership. The official announcement just suggested that Isuzu will be producing Mazda’s new trucks. Mazda has been selling Titan, a re-badged version of an Isuzu Truck named Elf. This truck is sold in US as Isuzu N-series vehicle.
Many people preferred to buy the trucks made by Ford and Mazda sue to their high quality and great performance. Some of the customers might look forward to a new truck by Ford soon.
However there is no news of a new truck gong in production. Ford might bring the new Ranger replacement sometimes in the coming years but not immediately.
