News and social media has been flooded with the success of this new game. Pokémon game was first time introduced in 1999 and it’s the first time that it has seen so much success again. The game officials are now seriously thinking about investing in a live action movie. This is a great news for all the Pokémon fans out there.
According to Deadline, always busy screen writer Max Landis will be considered for this movie. According to the news he is the first choice of movie officials to write the screenplay of this movie. He also wrote the screenplay of Chronicle and Power Rangers movie reboot. Max is the son of famous Hollywood director John Landis. He directed movies like the Blue Brothers, Animal house, and An American Wolfe in London.
Landis also wrote last year’s American Ultra and Victor Frankenstein. With the game in swing and the new appraisal for it, it looks like the best time to have a live action movie. The Pokémon series was a huge hit in English speaking countries with its main characters Ash, Misty and Brock. However later on with new characters, the show lost its charm in these countries. However the success of Pokémon Go indicated that it’s still liked by people in a much broader range.
