As soon as Pokemon Go was released last week, people immediately started to fantasize about which franchise would be the next to get a game with a similar style. Of course, the Harry Potter fandom was reaching out to both J.K. Rowling and Niantic Labs to partner up and create a version set within the wizarding world. Many have suggested that with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them coming soon, it would be an excellent tie-in to the plot and free publicity. After all, the movie finds New Scamander running all over 1920s New York City to catch all of the escaped magical creatures.

The game practically creates itself, doesn't it?
That is the same sentiment that many other people felt as well. The Potterverse is already part of our real world, so why not add another game? Fans want what they want, so they are now petitioning Niantic to make a "Harry Potter Go" mobile game:
The petition has been titled “Accio Harry Potter Go: We Want a Harry Potter Version of Pokemon Go!” and was started by 23-year-old Durham, NC resident Ashtyn Hannon. She is obviously a huge Harry Potter fan.
“I don’t play Pokémon Go, but I totally would if there were a Harry Potter version,” Hannon told Care2.

The petition, as of press, has 3,305 supporters out of the 4,000 goal, but we have a feeling that the count is going to go even higher.
