iPhone 7 Will Ship With Wireless AirPods

It has now been confirmed that the new iPhone 7 will not have the standard 3.55 headphone jack. This sort of leaves Apple the task of finding an alternative way through which all of its customers can listen to personal audio on the phone.

We have seen a number of leaks of lightening enabled EarPods by Apple and have heard rumors about wireless EarPods which will work via Bluetooth. Now it turns out that what Apple really plans to sell with the new iPhone are AirPods.

Last year a company called Entertainment In Flight LLC sent an application out to the United States Patent and Trademark Office to get a patent for a new technology called AirPods. At that point nobody was able to join the dots as Entertainment In Flight LLC had no obvious connection to Apple but now it seems as if the afore mentioned company is an offshore of Apple used by Apple to cover up its track and keep its true plans for the new audio accessory a secret.

A signed document surfaced on July 7th 2016 which asked for more information about the request put forward by Apple. It was signed by Jonathan Brown who is listed as the manager of Entertainment In Flight LLC. It happen to be that a Jonathan Brown is employed by Apple at the post of Senior Standard Counsel. To confirm the authenticity of the signatures in the document further investigation was carried out.

A civil suit case from 2010 was dug up and the signatures on the said case and the signatures on the document are very similar. We can’t say anything for sure and have to wait until the official announcement happens but going on all of this information it is highly likely the new iPhone 7 is going to ship with wireless headphones known as AirPods.
