Japan has Pokemon Noodle Soup, but still no Pokemon Go.

When looking at the current prices of Pokemon Go Plus on eBay, I stumbled over Pokemon Noodle cups. The Japanese ramen soup features Pikachu on the packaging. There is not just a Pokemon on the packaging, they are also inside the soup. Watch the commercial for the Pokemon Noodle soup below.

Sapporo Ichiban introduced the Pokemon noodle soup in Japan in 2013. Japan is still waiting for the Pokemon Go launch that was planned for Wednesday. Because of a leak, the launch has been scrubbed. Niantic has not announced a new date. The Nintendo backed startup is not very good at communicating. Japanese Pokemon fans got though Pokemon ramen. You can have it too.

There are several sellers on eBay offering the Pokemon ramen. A single Sapporo Ichiban Pokemon noodle cup sells for $2.99, shipping from Japan. It makes more sense to buy in bulk to get through days of Pokemon training. A 12-pack of the Pokemon noodle soup sells for $48.

The Pokemon soup is great for when you are busy playing Pokemon or when you have a break because the Pokemon Go servers are down again.

With the new Pokemon hype, the Pokemon Noodle exporters will see a big spike in business, selling Pokemon soup around the world.

The Pokemon Go augmented reality game launched on July 6 and it has been sweeping the world (where its available) dominating download charts in Android and iOS app stores.
