With gamers everywhere embracing Pokemon Go and the phenomenon that is Pokehunting, it should be no surprise that YouTubers are taking on the game and making viral videos out of it. One of the most popular videos is one where two couples team up to bring the game to real life, complete with Ash Ketchum.
How To: Buy a Pokemon Go Plus
Adam Vuinovic from Provo dressed up like the most well-known Pokehunter, Ash Ketchum and ran around different cities throughout Utah. He threw giant Pokeballs at Nellie and Bryce Jurgensmeier (The Jurgys) and Jessica and Austin Spomer (Austin & Jess Vlogs) who were dressed as popular Pokemon from the game.
Eventually, other players and fans joined in, and the video was uploaded to the Jurgensmeiers' YouTube channel:
“Everywhere we went we saw people outside and moving — which is awesome — but they were glued to their phone, so we got them to interact with others around them by running in front of them as Ash threw in the giant pokéball. Maybe they thought we were the new and unique Pokémon everyone is searching for,” read the description below the video.
