We are expecting the Mercedes-AMG Hypercar to come next year.

Looks like Mercedes is all up for hypercar adventures.

We are sure for one thing that Mercedes is going to celebrate 50 years of success for AMG in high spirit. They are going to launch a new vehicle R50 in order to mark the 50 years anniversary of this famous car of company, according to AutoBuild. This car will be available for sale in the year 2017.

It’s only one year till we will get to see this special car. We know about a few things which can be seen in this special AMG. By the looks of the information we have here, it won’t be a surprise if we will get a super Mercedes-AMG Hypercar in the end to celebrate this occasion.
This R50 is supposed to resemble Le Mans Prototype racer, according to MotorAuthority. It will be powered by a hybrid system and will have a 1000 horsepower engine. Along with that it will be paired with a 4-cylinder engine too.

It will showcase double electric motors which will provide an hp of 150 each thus making the horsepower to be of 1300 bhp in total. The 4 cylinder engine will power rear wheels where it will be located on the rear side. On the other hand, the front wheels will be powered by electric motors.
This R50 will weigh around 1,300 kilograms. The company is ensuring a 1:1 power to weight ratio in order to increase its efficiency on the road. Despite having a low weight, this car will have full safety features which are being offered in a Mercedes.

We are looking towards a seven figured price tag for this special edition Mercedes-AMG Hypercar. All the features indicate that it is going to be a hypercar.
