  • There won’t be a Bugatti Chiron Roadster in Near Future

Bugatti Chiron will not follow the footsteps of Veyron.

Every Bugatti enthusiast was wondering if there would be Roadster version of Chiron in the near future. The predecessor of Chiron, Veyron got a roadster a few months back. So it was thought that Chiron will see a roadster version too. However Bugatti has confirmed that there will be no roadster version for a Chiron.

Brungs from Bugatti confirmed at the automaker’s showroom at UK, Mayfair that there will be no roadster or convertible for Chiron in the future, according to AutoCar. He added that Veyron has gotten both Grand Sport and Grand Sport Vitesse targe topped models but others will not be getting these features.

When Bugatti was asked about a faster variant of Veyron, the answer was that  currently the company was looking to sell 500 standard Chirons at the moment. After that they will dwell on some other ideas.

London is regarded as one of the most important markets for Bugatti cars. It is the reason that they have special attention towards promoting their model in the country.

According to Bugatti many of the owners of their cars live in London. It has been said that 65 Bugatti Veyron are being owned by customers in UK while 15 Chiron have been booked by the citizens up till now.

A standard Chiron costs around 2.6 million dollars. This is huge price, so getting a convertible or a roadster will mean a more expensive Chiron which might not be a feasible option in terms of profit.

The car is currently powered by an 8.0 liters Turbo Quad engine with a W-16 manufacturing. It will produce and ho of 1500 while the top speed of Chiron is 262 mph. However Bugatti is trying to attempt this record of speed too.
