Delivering on the promise made a week ago by Huawei, Honor Note is now officially available in China. The Phablet joins the ranks of Xiaomi Mi Max and Lenovo Phab 2 Pro. Honor Note 8 beats its competitors when it comes to screen resolution. This is because it is about 0.2” bigger diagonally than these two other brands with a screen resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 px which delivers a 443 ppi pixel density.

The phone is powered by an octa-core CPU in a 4xCortex-A72 + 4xCortex-A53 configuration and a Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. The phone comes with 4 GB of RAM and offers storage options of 32, 64 and 128 GB. The phone comes with a 13MP rear and an 8MP front camera respectively.
The Honor Note 8 has a dual Sim situation going for itself. But only one of the Sims will be able to access 4G and 3G, while the other will remain restricted to 2G.
You will also be given the option of inserting a micro SD card. Other than NFC support or MHL, the phones comes equipped with Wi-Fi, GPS GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and Bluetooth v4.2. It has a USB Type-C port. The offered battery is 4500mAh.
It weighs 2019 g with a height width of 178.8 x 90.9 x 7.18mm. The Honor Note 8 will come running with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The phone is available at preorder for CNY 2,299 ($345) for the 32 GB version while the succeeding 64 GB and 128 GB versions cost CNY 2,499 ($375) and CNY 2,799 ($420) respectively.

Official sale of the phone will start on August 9th and not a lot of details about its international availability have been released.
