Jaguar Land Rover recalls all models that have Takata Airbags fitted in them.
Takata Airbags have caused quiet an amount of problems for auto brands all over the world. Many companies have recalled the cars which had Takata air bags fitted in them. The reason behind these recalls was the faulty parts that were installed in these air bags.

It was seen that if the cars are used in humid environments then the air bags became faulty. It was also noticed that upon collision and opening of these air bags made faulty parts to break into shrapnel which can cause serious injuries to the passengers in car. The faulty parts were reported to have caused many injuries in a number of accidents too.
JLR like that of many car makers have recalled its models which are currently following the use of Takata airbags. They have recalled numerous cars which include the 2009-11 Jaguar XFs and 2007-11 Jaguar Land Rover.
These are all being called for the front passenger side faulty air bags, according to AutoBlog. These have the metal shrapnel that can be propelled on the collision thus causing major injuries.
The company has broken down the recall in four phases. The air bags that are being fitted in cars which are mostly found in humid environment will be recalled on the earliest basis.
It was seen that humidity caused the air bags to worsen in their condition. Thus Jaguar Land Rover will make sure to recall the cars that belong to humid areas and high temperatures.

These areas include Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, South Carolina, Mississippi, and Puerto Rico among many other places. The company is encouraging the owners to go and visit safecar.gov in order to see if their car is included in the ones being recalled. After that they can go to their dealers to get the air bags fixed.
