Apple is all set to revolutionize the auto engineering.

Apple’s 80 new patents, approved by U.S Patent and Trademark Office, were published recently. The vehicle or project that is being explained in the patent shows some kind of articulated vehicle with its steering system.

An articulated vehicle is a kind of vehicle which do not have the standard steering used in most of the cars, according to Mashable. Instead it has a permanent or semi-permanent kind of pivoting joint in the middle which helps it to move.

This kind of pivoting in used in heavy vehicles like that of tanks. So by the looks of it all we are looking forward to a vehicle that will actually move like a tank.

These kind of equipment’s are also used in trains, heavy machinery and trams along with tanks. Apple will be building this invention with the help of BAE Systems. It is a Swedish company that is famous for its army vehicle systems.

According to the patent, the articulated vehicle will be devised with front steering or rear steering. The vehicle is actually build in order to improve the steering and efficiency of the invention.

If you think that this patent will lead to a launch of a hi-fi looking luxury car, then you are mistaken as we are looking towards something which will be a far cry from common vehicles.

This patent was submitted by Apple in the year 2015 for approval. The other patents that are approved include a futuristic looking fully electric car and a modernized bus which will be developed by the help of BAE Systems.
