The model has all the things similar to the older Tiguan other than its extended wheel base. This car has gotten a 110 m longer wheelbase than the other models, according to AutoCar. The major change that we were able to decipher in the new edition included a slightly longer rear door and a longer window behind C pillar.
The car has gotten two more seats thus making it a seven seater. If the seats are being folded it will give a bigger leg and boot space of almost 1655 liter. The regular UK engine that is being associated with the car includes 2.9 liter TDI diesel with a bhp of 187. Along with that it might get a smaller engine of 1.4liter TSI petrol of 148 bhp. Though we are certain that the smaller engine might not be included in this longer wheel base crossover.

It is said that like the regular Tiguan, this long wheel base will feature front wheel drive while the more powerful models might get rear wheel and four wheel drive. The official pricing will be revealed after it will be launched in UK later this year. We think that its expected price will start from somewhat 24,500 pounds. We might see its official reveal in Paris Motor Show which is one of the biggest motor shows of this year to come.
