Hyperloop One signs an agreement with Dubai authorities, DP World, to pursue a Hyperloop route in Dubai.
Hyperloop is trying to bring about the concept of transportation of goods and people from one place to other in a budgeted price while in a shorter time. It’s still working on its test missions however it looks like the company is pretty much confident of success of its test structure.

The company has provided us the information that they are looking to build the structure in one of the most expensive cities of world which is none other than Dubai.
They will soon set their first commercial route in Dubai and for that they have officially signed a contract too. Hyperloop will be teaming up with DP world which is one the biggest port operators in order to look for route of Hyperloop in Dubai.
"Hyperloop One is pleased to announce its expansion into the Gulf through the recent partnership with DP World," said Shervin Pishevar, cofounder and Executive Chairman of Hyperloop One.
"We firmly believe that this study is the first step towards the construction of the Hyperloop in Dubai, which could reshape one of the world's most modern cities and bring even more infrastructure innovation to the United Arab Emirates."
They will conduct a series of tests and will run reports in order to see the feasibility of Hyperloop tubes that can carry the subjects for traveling. The high speed Hyperloop tubes will make sure that the cargo is carried pretty fast to the container depot in a great speed. This will certainly save time and money along with making port operation much more efficient than before.
"Hyperloop One is developing a new mode of transportation that will allow the world to transport people and goods inexpensively, safely, and with energy efficiency at speeds never thought possible," said Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO, DP World.
"It is an innovative solution that holds tremendous potential for enhancing our operational efficiencies and ensuring smoother and faster trade flows. As a global trade enabler, we think ahead and foresee the future by being ready for it. The Hyperloop is an excellent example of positive future change and growth."
The CEO of Hyperloop Rob Lloyd said that Dubai certainly has the infrastructure, the feasible environment and money to make this project work.
"By eliminating the barriers of time and distance, we believe we can increase the volume of freight DP World moves through the port using a Hyperloop to a new inland depot, which supports more revenue and profit for all stakeholders," said Rob Lloyd.
"A Hyperloop system fits very seamlessly with existing transportation corridors, minimizing any impact on urban Dubai and reducing freeway congestion and emissions."
The Hyperloop will consist of a network of tubes which will be big enough to carry cargo or passengers to the desired spot. The pods are expected to float slightly above the surface of tubes in the sea water. The speed that will be gained in these Hyperloop tubes will be close to 750mph which is pretty similar to maglev train.
"By having a system where a box can be taken off a ship and dropped into the tube or pod, we are moving activity that would otherwise be on the island terminal as well as reducing the size of the terminal you need to build," said Peter Diamandis, CEO, XPrize Foundation/Founding Board Member, Hyperloop One.
