A whole industry had burgeoned around this focal activity. Yet it had come too close to the stomping grounds of animal rights activists. The spinner dolphins which were the ones the people normally swam about with in Hawaii had a hectic schedule and they badly needed a break from this routine.
Both tourists and locals tended to enjoy swimming with the dolphins. It was a pleasurable activity. Many firms were responsible for the tours which the people looked forward to with eager anticipation.
