The new designing and development of this concept has given it a new look. It has identical looks like that of a Tiguan and 2017 Touareg. If we look at the specs of this car then we will come to know that it’s pretty different from the two.
It might resemble them but it has its own individuality as well. It has a muscular bonnet which is unique on its own. The car is adorned with squared off arches that has given it a more impressive and rugged look.
The car will be launched soon and it will sit between Tiguan and Touareg in the Volkswagen’s SUV line up which is actually growing in a really fast pace, according to AutoCar.
The crossblue concept which was released in the year 2013 had a few distinct features that we are hoping to be present in2017 Volkswagen Crossblue too. It had a powertrain of 187bhp with a 2.0 liter diesel engine.
It also have electric motors that are 54bhp each sitting on front. Along with that it has another one mounted at rear with 114bhp. The three power sources will provide the vehicle a total of 320bhp.
The battery used in the motors was a 9.8kWh lithium ion battery. We are hoping to get a V6 turbo charged engine in the car as the leaked picture also have the V6 badge at the back of it.
