No hint about his character has yet been given except that his character will be an important one. Many GoT fans might have been able to guess what character he was playing by matching age and appearance with the characters in George R.R. Martin’s book series.
However, it was highly publicized that the TV series went ahead of the book series and will be writing an original story for the next two seasons.
The show’s season 7 will be shorter than the previous seasons, with only 7 episodes instead of the usual 10. The series’ shooting has been delayed to suit that “Winter has Come” plot, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The show will be aired in summer dates instead of the usual spring release. Moreover, the cast of the show including Maisie Williams and Kit Harrington have predicted that the upcoming season is ‘crazy’ and ‘dark’.
Maisie even went ahead to say in her tweet that nothing could prepare the audience for the level of craziness in the upcoming season. We have to see that where Jim Broadbent will fit into the Winter has Come plot.
